Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. Introduction

This policy governs the cancellation and refund terms for the services and subscriptions offered through the Fa'aliyati platform. By using the platform or purchasing any subscription or service, the user acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.

2. Nature of the Services

Fa'aliyati provides digital and electronic services that are activated immediately or within a short period of completing payment, including but not limited to:

  • Creating and managing invitations.
  • Managing invitees.
  • QR codes for attendance.
  • RSVP confirmation.
  • Event management.
  • Exporting invitations and files.
  • Enterprise and custom services.

Owing to the digital nature of the services provided, the refund policy differs from that of physical products.

3. Subscriptions and Digital Plans

The user may cancel the automatic renewal of a subscription at any time through their account or the means provided by the platform. Upon canceling renewal:

  • The subscription remains active until the end of the paid period.
  • The subscription is not renewed for the following period.
  • No portion of the current period's fees is refunded.

4. No Refund After Service Use Begins

The service is considered used as soon as the user performs any of the following actions, or any similar action:

  • Creating an event.
  • Creating an invitation.
  • Saving an invitation.
  • Uploading or importing invitees.
  • Using QR codes.
  • Using the RSVP system.
  • Sharing invitations.
  • Exporting PDF or PNG files.
  • Using any feature of the subscribed plan.

Once use of the service has begun, the subscription or service fees become non-refundable.

5. Refund Requests Before Use

If the user has purchased a subscription and has not used the service at all, they may submit a refund request within seven (7) days of the payment date. Fa'aliyati reserves the right to review the request and verify the account status and usage history before approving or rejecting it. Submitting a request does not constitute a guarantee that the refund will be approved.

6. Technical and Payment Errors

The user may request a review of a payment in the following cases:

  • Being charged more than once for the same transaction.
  • Being charged an incorrect amount due to a technical error.
  • A confirmed error in processing the payment.

If an actual error is verified, the platform may refund the amount or remedy the error in the manner it deems appropriate.

7. Custom Services

Custom services include, for example:

  • Enterprise services.
  • Corporate services.
  • Event management and operation.
  • Bespoke solutions.
  • Custom-made designs and services.

These services are subject to separate quotations or agreements.

8. Refunds for Custom Services

If execution of the service has not yet begun, the platform may consider the cancellation or refund request according to the circumstances of each case. However, if execution of the service has begun, or resources, time, the work team, designs, or any part of the project have been allocated, the client is not entitled to claim a refund of amounts relating to work that has been carried out or commenced.

9. Advance Payments

Some custom services may require advance payments or a deposit to confirm the booking or allocate resources. The client acknowledges that these payments may be non-refundable after the booking is confirmed or work begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Payment Disputes

If the user opens a payment dispute or requests a forced chargeback through their bank or payment provider in breach of this policy, Fa'aliyati reserves the right to:

  • Suspend the account.
  • Restrict access to the services.
  • Provide the documents and records necessary to defend the payment.
  • Claim the amounts due and any costs or fees arising from the dispute, where permitted by law.

11. Refund Methods

If any refund is approved, it is processed using the original payment method whenever possible, and in accordance with the timeframes and procedures of the relevant payment provider or bank. Fa'aliyati bears no responsibility for any delay caused by banks, payment companies, or intermediary financial institutions.

12. Right to Amend

Fa'aliyati reserves the right to amend this policy at any time, and amendments take effect from the date they are published on the website.
